You can never know someone's dietary preferences these days, so to keep it safe and ensure everyone can enjoy a sweet treat, we've got the recipe for the ooiest, gooiest, dairy-free, and vegan chocolate chip cookies! Seriously, these cookies are so tasty that you won't even be able to tell the difference between these and the non-vegan ones! The key ingredient to this mouth-watering batch of goodness? Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

So, let's get this Christmas party started and jump into exactly what you'll need to fuel Santa's sleigh rides this holiday season:

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup & 1 Tablespoon Pressed Non-Dairy Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Vegan Butter (or Coconut Oil)
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Vegan Chocolate Chips

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line your cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. Blend your sugars and wet ingredients in a large mixing bowl, including vegan butter, brown and granulated sugars, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until all is smoothly combined.
3. Whisk together your dry ingredients in a separate bowl, including flour, baking soda, and salt. Set the bowl aside for later.
4. Slowly add your bowl of dry ingredients and chocolate chips to your wet ingredients. Ensure this process is done gradually for easier mixing and clump-free dough.
5. Use a cookie scooper or your hands to form balls of dough and place them atop your parchment paper about an inch apart.
6. Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden edges form. Allow your cookies to cool for a few minutes and enjoy!

*Pro Tip: If you're really trying to get on the nice list, sprinkle some sea salt on top of your cookies right when they come out of the oven to balance the flavors and intensify the sweetness.
